Who We Follow

by Chris Galis

While the SXSW Music and Interactive Conference is a great place to see the latest bands and be introduced to some of the most forward thinking tech companies, there’s also a wealth of panels and goings-on that are dedicated to entertainment media production and marketing at this year’s SXSW.

After pouring through the seemingly endless lists of events during SXSW Interactive (March 9th - 13), we’ve drawn up some of the more interesting discussions that are going on.

It seems that this year’s focus trends a lot toward multimedia innovations such as “transmedia” and how to turn independent projects into successful endeavors from the ground up. To save you all the trouble of having to sort through the mess, our friends at Daddy Van Productions, a concert video production company, have catalogued a series of panel events that will pique your production interests.
